Thank you so much for hosting such a wonderful Salon last weekend. I know that I had been eagerly looking forward to running my mental fingertips through the narratives of your paintings. How lovely to finally see the work in person.

Can I admit that I have never read the Diary of Anne Frank? Although, I have been to her house. The book wil be arriving in a few days in the mail. It's been on my list.
Your work was enchanting, engaging, disturbing, perplexing and delightful. I hope that you got what you needed through the feedback of the group. I really enjoyed taking the time to really discuss the work. It was nice to be able to discuss it both formally and conceptually. Your image of Anne as a bride stays with me and I love it. The project of re-writing history seems so right for you. I think it's an interesting reflection of your nature and your ability.
I wonder how many of us vacillated with the idea of becoming a writers. I know that I have since childhood, but love that I can combine the two in art.
I am so glad that you are in our group. I enjoy your strong voice and you unique work.

Thanks, Phoebe. You are awesome.
As for what the person at Barnsdall said, it's really true. And It's not just that you were smart to organize this, you were also very determined and creative about it. And courageous.
