Judith Corona's studio visit

Thanks for inviting us in, feeding us and intriguing us with your art and knowledge, Judy! It was so interesting to discover the breadth of your work and to hear about your experience and training. Your quixotic paintings were wild and filled with moments of beauty and strangeness, haunting spaces and humorous juxtapositions. It was also an interesting leaping off point for our conversation. I can't get that image of that beautiful figure with that fabulous odd-ball curtain covering her face out of my head. Lovely. I hope you were pleased with the dialogue!

Notes: Tom mentioned Zoom at the Torrance Art Museum. They are accepting up to 5 JPGS, deadline October 1. He also mentioned that they are always accepting proposals for exhibits. That is good to keep in mind.

Thought: Let's insert more "studio-less" meetings from time to time. There are so many conversations that are percolating every time we meet...

I adore this process. Thank you to everyone for participating!
Phoebe
